“Banks Never Ask That”: Security Awareness

If you need to answer unknown calls – for example, as part of your job – do not provide account information, passwords, verification codes, or other sensitive details. Ask for the caller’s name, company, and reason for calling, then end the call and verify the request using a trusted phone number.
